Appiano - at the doorstep of the Dolomites – is South Tyrol’s largest wine-growing municipality, with over 1,000 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the Province of Bolzano.
The 390 hectares cultivated by our 320 winegrowing families are spread across sun-drenched slopes, where nature provides ideal conditions for producing outstanding wines.
Climate & nature
Vines thrive in a temperate climate with abundant sunshine and sufficient rainfall. South Tyrol’s unique Alpine-Mediterranean climate, with around 2,000 hours of sunshine a year, provides ideal conditions for producing wines of distinctive character.
The winegrower
The 320 winegrowing families form the backbone of our Winery. Viticulture has been their passion for generations. With knowledge, tradition and dedication, each winegrower plays an essential role in providing the finest grapes, which we transform into wines with care and sensitivity.
